45 hours back in Germany from the Spain/Morocco trip and I was off again. Destination Thessaloniki, Greece. Jake and I arrived in the early afternoon and the weather was an amazing upgrade from the grey Germany weather. We hung out there for 2 days being all tourist like and just relaxing. From there we took a night bus to Istanbul, staying 3 days. That Turkey portion of the trip will be in the "Greece/Turkey: Istanbul" blog. We left Istanbul with a night bus and arrived in Kavalla, Greece. Took a ferry over the Thassos Island and then a bus to Potos, where we stayed for 2 days. Conveniently we met a Greek guy on the bus who was friends with the owner of the place we were staying. He took us there and showed us where his bar was located, conveniently 100 meters from the apartment. Our apartment was on the beach, rad. Day one on the Island we chilled out on the beach. I passed out and got pretty damn burned. Day 2 we rented ATVs and mobbed it around the island, on the coast and through the forest. Good times.
